Because there are sooo many furrballs at the shelter, our group is sponsoring/paying $40 off the adoption fee for ADULT cats. Less than 30% of cats and kittens make it out of shelters alive....please help change that by going down to the shelter and meeting these wonderful cats and kittens, and taking one home with you!! This means your adoption fee will be $30 and includes Spay or Neuter, Rabies Vaccination, FVRCPP Vaccination (additional boosters not included), General Deworming, Microchip (courtesy of Loudon County Humane Society). Approximately 4 million animals are euthanized at shelters every year, and this is a conservative estimate. Yet there are purportedly 20 million families each year who acquire new pets, and only 30% of these families will adopt from shelters. YOU are doing a wonderful thing by adopting a desperate shelter animal, whose LIFE literally depends on YOU providing a new home. Shelter animals make wonderful pets. Adopting a homeless shelter animal is a generous act of compassion, and an expression of the inherent value of animals.
